NCERT releases alternative academic calendar for primary school students

The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) have releases the alternative academic calendar for the students of primary school on the official website of the Council. The alternative academic calendar is published online of the official website at ncert.nic.in.

Due to the outbreak of Covid-19 country is under lockdown and all the schools are closed. Due to this NCERT come up with the plans for the education of primary school students. The released plan comprises four weeks of study which includes Maths, English, Hindi, Urdu, Environmental Studies, Health and Physical Education for students of classes 1 to 5.

The newly released plan will help the students to learn at home during the coronavirus lockdown. This will also help the students in continuing their studies despite countrywide lockdown. The academic calendar includes all the subjects for the students of classes 1 to 5.

The currently released plan includes the four weeks study plan which may be extended further depending on the Covid-19 situation in the country.

NCERT academic calendar contains is well designed for 1 month and it includes the references to textbooks, chapters, themes, e-resources among other things. So, it will be easy for the students to learn at home during Covid-19 lockdown.

Country is undergoing unprecedented lockdown where classes have been suspended and all the students are at home. At this time only study at indoors is possible with the help of parents.
