A movie on Indo-China battle to be produced by Ajay Devgn

Following PM Modi's visit to leh, Ajay Devgn is said to make a movie on Indo-China clash that led to 20 Indians soldiers being martyred.

Following the visit of PM Narendra Modi to Leh, a declaration came that a new Bollywood movie will be made about the stand off between India and China where Chinese soldiers attacked Indian troops in Galwan Valley that led to 20 Jawaans passing away. This was the first clash between India and China in about 45 years that led to soldiers being martyred.

Actor Ajay Devgn has confirmed that he will co-produce the movie along with Select Media Holdings LLP. The title of the movie is yet to be decided. In the wake of the novel Coronavirus the shooting of the movie would not be possible thus the producers shall wait till the situation gets under control. The cast and other crew members are under finalisation too.

In related news, Veteran actor Ajay Devgn’s movie ‘Bhuj: The Pride of India’ is going to be available on Disney + Hotstar soon. The director of the film is Abhishek Dudhaiya and is going to focus on the Indo-Pak war of 1971. Besides Ajay Devgn, actors like Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha, Nora Fatehi, Sharad Kelkar, Ammy Virk and Pranitha Subhash will also feature in the movie. As of now its release date in uncertain.

In an online press conference, Ajay Devgn said "The film is based on a true story. The story is about one day and one night. It tells this story of common people who rebuilt a road overnight to help the armed forces during the 1971 war. We need to have more stories of such bravery and valour."
