Bollywood star Kangana Ranaut, who has been in news constantly for her incredible acting performances, as well as, due to her name involved in some or other striking controversy since the last few years, created quite a stir in media by saying that it cannot be expected of Narendra Modi to pull the nation out of “the pit” in a petty tenure of five years. The rumour mills are abuzz with talks of Kangana’s probability of contesting a seat Gurdaspur constituency in Punjab, which once belonged to Bollywood Ace Actor Vinod Khanna before he passed away in April 2017. Could Kangana possibly be eyeing a career in politics or is it only a conscious citizen and actor voicing her opinion on the current political scenario?

The actor was all praise for the Prime Minister and also called him the “rightful leader of the democracy”. She was attending the screening of the short film Chalo Jeete Hain, which is said to be inspired by the early life of the Indian Prime Minister. After the event, organised in Delhi, Kangana reviewed that the beautifully made film shows some extreme circumstances that PM Narendra Modi underwent as a sensitive child.  The actor also felt that the film manifests only a small part of PM Modi’s life and is rather based on the topic of society’s need to rise together.

As per Kangana clarification, on the supposition that she has some plans of entering politics, she had always dreamt of serving the nation and once she starts doing that she would do that with utmost focus, dignity and sophistication without sailing in two boats. The Bollywood diva made some strong comments in her interview given to Mid-Day regarding her being available for working in nation’s interest. She spoke about her movie commitments and said that her hands are full at present with Manikarnika, the shooting of which is midway; Mental Hai Kya, whose filming has also begun and the recently announced Panga. She put aside the speculations of her name being considered in the Lok Sabha Elections 2019, but also hinted that she is not antipathic to the idea of assuming the role of a full-fledged national servant in future.

In her said interview, she opined that it is not the right approach to be a family person or have kids or an alternate career while being on national duty as a politician. She further said that she has set a high standard for herself and would not let films or even her family come into the way of her when she gets into the shoe of one of the national servants. Moreover, she expressed that she is not a person to avoid politics by being cowardly and saying that it is highly demanding or make an extremely selfish excuse that it is not her cup of tea. Emphasising on her views she also added that our country must get draw inspiration from the nations, where every citizen gets army training to be prepared for future combat need. She spoke on her belief that it is important to set the right example for our nation’s youth is both intelligent and fiery and she would be able take the lead if the duty comes to her.

The protagonist of hit flick Queen had earlier commented that our soldiers are ready to sacrifice their lives whenever the country is in danger and if the nation needs her she will be willing to lay her life for India too, leave alone joining politics. With three National Awards and promising projects in her kitty along with a bold image associated with her credentials, the beautiful Kangana could possibly be a popular political representative if she actually decides to be one.
