Coronavirus global death toll touches 1,85,000-mark; more than 2.6 million people infected with Covid-19 globally

The Coronavirus pandemic is growing very fast globally and as of now over 1,85,000 people have been killed due to deadly Covid-19 infection. The number of confirmed cases rises to over 2.6 million globally, while large number of confirmed cases is being reported daily. World is under grip of Covid-19 pandemic and still there is not vaccine against Covid-19 virus.

According to the John Hopkins University global Covid-19 tracker over 1,738 new Coronavirus deaths are reported from the United States in 24 hours. The United States is the most affected country in the world with more than 841,556 confirmed cases and 1,83,336 deaths so far due to Covid-19 infection.

The total deaths globally rose to 183,336 on early Thursday, while the global confirmed cases reached to 2,627,630 marks so far.

Meanwhile Italy reported  25,085 deaths, Spain  reported 21,717 deaths, France  reported 21,340 deaths, United Kingdom reported 18,100 deaths, New York City New York US reported 15,074 deaths,  Belgium reported 6,262 deaths, Iran  reported 5,391 deaths, Germany  reported 5,315 deaths, Hubei China 4,512 deaths,  Netherlands reported 4,054 deaths, Brazil reported 2,924 deaths, Turkey reported 2,376 deaths, Sweden reported 1,937 deaths, Switzerland reported 1,509 deaths, Nassau New York US reported 1,431 deaths, Wayne Michigan US reported 1,319 deaths, Quebec Canada reported 1,134 deaths, Cook Illinois US 1,072 deaths and in other parts of the world less 1,000 deaths have been reported so far.

The grave concern is that we don’t have any vaccine and treatment for this disease. Scientists around the world are working hard to develop vaccine and medicine against this disease but as per experts it will take over 1 year for the vaccine to come in market.

Germany is well equipped to fight coronavirus pandemic, government moved to relax some restrictions this week. Chancellor Angela Merkel pointed about the experience of South Korea, who fought with a different form of coronavirus five years ago. As of now the Covid-19 infection is under control in South Korea.

Italy is second worst affected country in the world with 25,085 deaths and 187,327 confirmed cases so far.

Spain is third most affected country in the world with 208,389 confirmed cases and over 21,717 deaths. Spain extended a state of emergency till May 9 as new cases of Covid-19 infection is coming in large number in Europe. As of now the Europe is the epicenter of Coronavirus pandemic.
