In Belgium total confirmed cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19) have increased to 55,791, while 9,108 people died due to the growing infection in the country.Coronavirus (Covid-19) update from around the world:
New Delhi, 14-May-2020: Union Railways Minister Piyush Goyal said that Swadeshi is not inward-looking and swadeshi is more about self-confidence. "Swadeshi is not inward-looking. Swadeshi is more about self-confidence," he said during during the global on-line conference on "Covid 19- Jaan bhi; Jahan bhi". The "Covid 19- Jaan bhi; Jahan bhi" conference was organized by The School of Management of Bennett University.
New Delhi, 14-May-2020: Government to give Rs 5,000 crore credit facility to 50 lakh street vendors. "We will provide Rs 5,000 crore special credit facility for street vendors. The initial working capital of Rs 10,000 will be provided to them," the minister Sitharaman said. "The Covid-19 lockdown has had an adverse impact on the street vendors. The special scheme will facilitate easy access to credit to the street vendors," Sitharaman added.
New Delhi, 14-May-2020: Delhi CM, Arvind Kejriwal said that most people suggested that schools & educational institutes should stay closed till summer vacations.
France: France is reporting higher number of deaths but but slightly fewer people with severe conditions were admitted into ICU in past fourth day. France reported 315 deaths last day as compared to 345 deaths the day earlier. In France 133,670 confirmed cases and 14,412 deaths reported so far.
