Due to festivals and other holidays Banks in India will remain closed for 4 days starting from today, April 13 to April 16. Although Banking holidays will also depend on the festivals being observed in the respective states. So, if you are planning to your bank then first checks the bank holiday in your state.

Due to the festivals Banks will remain closed for 4 days starting from today from April 13 to April 16. Banks will open on 17 April and again Bank will be closed on 18 April due to Sunday. So, if you don’t have major work will most go on Monday for banking.

The bank holidays will also depend on the holiday in your state, so you check it with your bank in your state before actually going to your bank for banking in these days.

April  13: Gudhi Padwa/Telugu New Year's Day/Ugadi Festival/Sajibu Nongmapanba (Cheiraoba)/1st Navratra/Baisakhi. On April 13 Banks will remain closed to festivals

April  14: Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Jayanti/Tamil New Year's Day/Vishu/Biju Festival/Cheiraoba/Bohag Bihu. Due to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Jayanti Banks will remain closed in the country.

April  15: Himachal Day/Bengali New Year’s Day/Bohag Bihu/Sarhul.

April  16: Bohag Bihu

Bank will again open on 17 April on Saturday. Due to long holidays you are advisable to check in your state before going to the bank.
