The campaign for the seventh and final phase for Lok Sabha Election 2019 ends yesterday on Friday; polls to be help on 19 May for 59 seats. In the seventh and final phase voting to be held in all parliamentary constituencies in Himachal Pradesh and Punjab, along with the Union Territory of Chandigarh. Counting of votes to done on 23 May and results will be declared after verification of VVPAT slips as per SC instructions.
The voting to be held in few Lok Sabha constituencies in Bihar, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal. The voting will be take place for the seventh phase of Lok Sabha Election 2019 in all the parliamentary constituencies in Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and Union Territory of Chandigarh.
In the seventh and final phase of Lok Sabha Election 2019 polls to be held for 59 Lok Sabha seats.
Due to violence in between the BJP and the TMC in Kolkata during Amit Shah’s roadshow, EC ordered to end campaigning in West Bengal 20 hours before the scheduled time. Due to this order campaigning in West Bengal constituencies ended at 10 pm on May 16.
As per the officials adequate security arrangements has been done to conduct free, fair and peaceful elections.
The key seat of this phase is Varanasi Lok Sabha seat, from where Prime Minister Narendra Modi is seeking to be re-elected.
Timing for the voting in all 59 constituencies will be from 7AM to 6PM except in Jharkhand and some parts in Bihar and Uttar Pradesh where voting will be till 4PM only.
Voting time in Bihar
7 am to 4 pm: Voting will he held between 7 am to 4pm in Sasaram (Assembly Constituencies: Bhabua, Chainpur, Chenari and Sasaram) and Karakat (Assembly Constituencies: Dehri, Karakat, Goh and Nabinagar)
7 am to 6 pm: Voting will be held between 7am to 6pm in Nalanda, Patna Sahib, Pataliputra, Arrah, Buxar, Sasaram (Assembly Constituencies: Mohania and Kargarah), Karakat (Assembly Constituencies: Nokha and Obra) and Jahanabad
Voting timing in Himachal Pradesh
Here are the timings of voting in Himachal Pradesh constituencies.
7 am to 6 pm: Voting will be held between 7 am to 6 pm in Kangra, Mandi, Hamirpur and Shimla
Jharkhand constituencies.
7 am to 4 pm: Voting will he held between 7 am to 4 pm in Rajmahal, Dumka and Godda constituencies.
Voting timing in Madhya Pradesh
7 am to 6 pm: Voting will be held between 7 am to 6 pm in Dewas, Ujjain, Mandsaur, Ratlam, Dhar, Indore, Khargone and Khandwa constituencies.
Voting timing in Punjab
7 am to 6 pm: Voting will be held between 7 am to 6 pm in Gurdaspur, Amritsar, Khadoor Sahib, Jalandhar, Hoshiarpur, Anandpur Sahib, Ludhiana, Fatehgarh Sahib, Faridkot, Firozpur, Bathinda, Sangrur and Patiala constituencies.
Voting timing in Uttar Pradesh
7 am to 4 pm: Voting will be held between 7 am to 4 pm in Robertsganj (Assembly Constituencies: Chakia, Robertsganj and Duddhi) constituencies.
7 am to 6 pm: Voting will be held between 7 am to 6 pm in Maharajganj, Gorakhpur, Kushi Nagar, Deoria, Bansgaon, Ghosi, Salempur, Ballia, Ghazipur, Chandauli, Varanasi, Mirzapur, Robertsganj (Assembly Constituencies: Ghorawal and Obra) constituencies.
Voting timing in West Bengal
7 am to 6 pm: Voting will be held between 7 am to 6 pm in Dum Dum, Barasat, Basirhat, Jaynagar, Mathurapur, Diamond Harbour, Jadavpur, Kolkata Dakshin and Kolkata Uttar constituencies.
Voting timing in Chandigarh
In Chandigarh voting will be held between 7 am to 6 pm.
Counting of votes will be done on 23 May and results.
