In a virtual event, Poco M2 has been launched in India. It is a more basic version of Poco M2 Pro that was introduced in the country back in July.
The upcoming smartphone will sport a 6.53 inch long full HD+ display offering resolution of 1,080 x 2,340 pixels. For the protection of display screen, a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 will be equipped by Poco M2.
The device will run on Android 10 based MIUI 12 which is supposed to release soon. The nano dual sim phone will be powered by the Mediatek helio G80 SoC processor. RAM of 6GB will be provided by the phone along with Mali G52 GPU. Two variants will be offered by Poco in terms of internal storage. One model will offer 64GB of onboard storage while the other will house 128GB of internal storage.
When it comes to camera performance, a quad rear set up will be featured incorporating a primary shooter of 13MP. An ultra wide lens along an 8MP camera and a 5MP macro lens will be housed by the smartphone. Lastly, a 2MP depth sensor is equipped by the upcoming device.
For selfies, a 8MP notch lens will be offered by the smartphone.

Distinct colour options to be available with the smartphones are Pitch Black, Slate Blue, and Brick Red. The base variant of the smartphone will be available for Rs 10,999. On the other hand, the 128GB model is priced at Rs 12,499.
