A fresh set of movies is ready to get served at the Box office for the movie buffs this Friday with a comedy drama and a horror comedy offering the main choice to the audiences. Last week on 24th August, Happy Phirr Jayegi, a sequel starring Sonakshi Sinha, Jimmy Shergill, Jassie Gill, Ali Fazal and Diana Penty started on a low note, took off to a great business in the weekends and since then it is doing decently well. Genius starring debutant Utkarsh Sharma and Nawazuddin Siddiqui tried their fate on Big Screen.

Let us take a look at what all we have in the Bollywood menu this Friday:

Yamla Pagla Deewana Phir Se:

The third instalment of the Yamla Pagla Deewana franchise was about to get released on the Independence Day itself, but decided to avoid clash with Gold and Satyamev Jayate, which was probably a good idea, as both of them did very well. Apart from Dharmendra, Sunny and Bobby Deol, around whom the story revolves, the movie will also see Kriti Kharbanda, Binnu Dhilonk, Gurmeet Saajan, Johny Lever and Rana Ranbir in various roles.

Yet another family entertainer of the Deol Clan, this movie by Punjabi Film Director Navaniat Singh seems to be a fun watch, though your brain should be left back home for that real feel. The comic caper also boasts of cameo appearances by Salman Khan, Sonakshi Sinha, Rekha and Satrughan Sinha, which may add to its appeal. The film is crucial for Bobby, who made a comeback with Race 3 and trying to save his drowning career, as well as, Sunny who wants to return full-fledged in the movie business.

Stree:

Another comedy but with a twist for those who love to see something different. Directed by Amar Kaushik, the movie is inspired by a terrible true phenomenon and tells the story of a town, where people are living a petrified life due to a female ghost who preys on men. The film explores the horror comedy genre, which is fresh for Bollywood and has desi humour along with quirky and catchy music to hold viewers’ attention.

The dialogue teasers are amusing enough for the followers to take them to theatres. Moreover, the Nora Fatehi’s Kamariya and Aao Kabhi Haveli Pe picturised on Kriti Sanon with Badshah have already gained a lot of popularity among the music lovers. Featuring an interesting starcast of ace actor Rajkumar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana and Abhishek Banerjee, Stree looks like quite a promising story to watch out for.
