A monochrome PMOLED display with ROG vision is also included on the back panel.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G SoC is combined with an Adreno 660 GPU, 18GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage in the Asus ROG Phone 5 Ultimate. It has a triple rear camera combination with a Sony IMX686 sensor, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 5-megapixel macro sensor for lenses. It has a 24-megapixel selfie camera on the front.

5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth v5.2, NFC, USB Type-C connector, and 3.5mm headphone jack are all available connectivity options. GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, Beidou, QZSS, NavlC, e-compass, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, in-display fingerprint sensor, gyroscope, and ultrasonic sensors are among the onboard sensors for AirTrigger 5. The Asus ROG Phone 5 Ultimate has a 6,000mAh battery that supports 30W fast charging. It weighs 238 grammes and measures 172.8x77.2x10.29mm.
