Xiaomi is preparing to unveil its first smartphone in India with 120W fast charging. The Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge will be launched in India through an online event on January 6, 2022. The handset is claimed to be a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 11 Pro+, which was just released in China, recently.

Xiaomi has confirmed that the Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge would be available in India next month via a media invite and a Twitter post. The Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge is said to be fully charged in around 15 minutes with the 120W rapid charging. The Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge will be dubbed "India's Fastest Charging Smartphone" as a result of this.

Next month, Xiaomi will release more than one Xiaomi 11i smartphone. That means the 11i HyperCharge with 120W rapid charging will be available, as well as a conventional 11i with slower charging. The latter is likely to be a rebranded version of the standard Redmi Note 11 Pro.

Furthermore, the next Xiaomi phone will be offered solely through Flipkart, as revealed by the e-commerce platform's now-live landing page. In the next few days, the page will provide additional information about the Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge.

In terms of specifications, the Xiaomi 11i series is expected to be identical to the Redmi Note 11 Pro series in China. Except for the battery capacity and charging speeds, the majority of the physical specifications for both phones are identical. Both variants are said to have a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass Victus protection. The MediaTek Dimensity 920 SoC will power them. It has the potential to have up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

Three rear cameras are expected: a 108-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 2-megapixel telephoto macro camera. A 16MP selfie camera is also expected to be included.

The basic 11i is expected to come with a 5,160mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging, while the 11i HyperCharge is expected to come with a 4,500mAh battery that supports 120W fast charging. MIUI 12.5 will be installed on smartphones, which is based on Android 11. 5G support, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and other features are also expected.

While the Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge price in India is uncertain, it is expected to be in the mid-range, with a price of less than Rs 40,000.
